Have a Glimpse of Milky Water At DudhSagar Waterfall
The monsoon of this year is the best monsoon that I have enjoyed till date, it was great fun, and I had almost explored
most of places that are worth visiting in monsoon and was feeling very great about it don’t know for what but I was. I was our trip to Goa that we were enjoying and suddenly, I got a call on my cell it was Dipti calling, as she knew that I was in Goa enjoying rains, as soon I received her call instead of saying hi, how are you and all she just said go and visit Dudhsagar Waterfall, hearing her excitement I thought of not asking her too many questions, I just said ok, as if I was knowing it where was it and all, but even I got curious to know about it. After searching on net I got that it was on the Goa-Karnataka border in the Sangeum district of Goa which is at the distance of about 60 kilometres from Margoa and also can be reached as of Panaji.
I was thrilled reading that Dudhsagar Waterfall is in the ranking of the 100 best waterfalls of the waterfalls and also is the fifth largest waterfall of India. After taking out suitable information about the Dudhsagar Waterfall, I understood
why Dipti was so excited and wanted me to visit there. Taking all other necessary information I conveyed it to all, after hearing to me Nitin said, “stop adding up more and more destinations, we have a fix plan for our outing and if we make changes we will be late in returning home back”, though he had a point in what he was saying I still wanted to visit there, it was just that we had to cancel out few programs from Goa and move towards Goa-Karnataka border, for the next one hour I was convincing Nitin to agree with the change in the plan as rest of them were ok with it. Finally, I succeeded in convincing him and we were leaving from Goa on that same day itself.
I was very happy and thrilled to visit such a wonderful place, in the journey Nitin was very quiet as he was still not convinced completely by our plan though he was accompanying us, but I was sure that after we reach the destination he will surely be happy. In few hours we were about to reach Dudhsagar Waterfalls, finally reaching the place brought a broad smile on Nitin’s face, seeing that even I was happy too and all others too. Aww this is a truly amazing place, the name of the place Dudhsagar Waterfall as a meaning behind, if you look at the water it is same as the color of the milk and so it is called as Dudhsagar Waterfalls. The height of this waterfall is 310 meters; I could just say that I was truly awesome to stand beneath and watch the milky water falling from great height. It is also famous as very popular picnic spot and through its water it has created several pools in the nearing areas there are many people who also enjoy in these pools. We spent a wonderful day here, jumping in the water having fun, clicking photos, I was feeling like calling up Dipti and thanking her for guiding to such a great destination, but at that time rather then calling her enjoying there was my main motto.
