If You Can Measure the Sound of Water Try it in Nagarjuna Sagar Dam
Monsoon is the best time when you when you can explore the environment to the fullest which great atmosphere, greenery everywhere, you can feel what the atmosphere and the surroundings wants to say it to you, the sound of the wind is so clear that you can feel it to the depth. After exploring the places in Maharashtra we were now all planning to move outside Maharashtra and enjoy the monsoon there. We were all wondering about where to plan our next trip sitting in CCD, suddenly taking a sip of coffee Anu said lets go to Andhra Pradesh, after hearing to her suggestion we all were looking at her place as if she spoke for the first time. This time what she spoke actually got a point the places in the southern parts of India are the best places to explore in the rainy season. In this category come the places like Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
All set with the destination and how to travel, we all crazy people actually decided to travel by road, as it was more fun and interesting too, we had booked a Scorpio as we were eight people all together, me, Anu, Aksu, Sachin, Nitin, Ellu, Greg and Rohan. We all were very exicted to go to Andhra Pradesh as we were also going to explore the places in Andhra Pradesh like Hyderabad and many more. Only the major problem we would phase there was of language issue, the communication would be a problem for us. But it would also be a part of fun, which we will enjoy during our trip to Andhra Pradesh. We came to know after reaching Andhra Pradesh that, it is known as “Rice Granary of India”, hearing to this Anu said now we will only eat rice as it a Rice Granary, she said this and we all started laughing. Laughing is the favorite pass time that we did when we all are together. The places that we were about to explore were Sri Venkateswara temple at Tirupati, Salarjung Museum, Charminar, Golconda Fort in Hyderabad and Buddhist viharas at Nagarjunasagar.
The best spot for which we were in Andhra Pradesh was the Nagarjuna Sagar Dam, which is considered to be the largest masonry dam which has its construction over the Krishna river, the capacity of this dam is of about 11,472 cubic metres. Nagarjuna Sagar was the initially in the string of huge infrastructure projects pioneered for India’s Green Revolution; it’s one of the most primitive multi-purpose hydro-electric and irrigation projects og India. The dam furnishes irrigation water to the Prakasam District, Nalgonda District, Guntur District and Khammam District electric power to the national grid.
We had planned our trip for four days and we were enjoying to the fullest in these four days, the day when we visited Nagarjuna Sagar Dam, it was a great experience which I feel I would never ever see in my life time. The time when we were before the dam all stood calm without uttering a word, no noise of clicking photos, no woowww expression, nothing all were just admiring the beauty and noise of water. The splashing of water was so beautiful that I couldn’t take off my eyes through it, this was the best place according to me that I have seen till date, this is the only thing that I could say in that hour, there was so much sound of water they we were not able to hear to each other, we all were screaming to our loudest voices to overtake the sound of water but all efforts in vain, we were not able to defeat water in any ways. Anu then started clicking photos but, it wasn’t enough for it she wanted to capture each and every move of water but again it was getting difficult, but she was managing it, she had almost clicked approximately 500 hundred photos in another hour, and she was continuing with it, if we couldn’t have moved from there. This was our last day in Andhra Pradesh and it was too good that was only because of the Nagarjuna Sagar Dam, as it was so stunning and beautiful, returning back to our home town we were all recalling the fun we did in the journey and the places we visited, it was all fun, all thanks to Monsoon which brings in such wonderful climate and enhances the nature more.
