La Tomatina Migration From Spain To Delhi
Sure of the fact that you all must have seen the blockbuster movie “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara” and while watching this movie I am very
sure you all have enjoyed the scene of the La Tomatina festival of Spain and seeing the fun in the festival some where deep inside your hearty you must all have thought of attending the festival atleast once, but the second thought that would register in your mind was the distance as this festival was only celebrated in Spain and going to Spain for a festival is a little thoughtful thing right? What if you get to enjoy the same in India, won’t it be a mind blowing thing, or is it not?
Apart from the fact of the enjoyment that you all have seen in the movie and influenced by it, but do you all really think that in a country like India where people die of hunger we can actually effort to waste such a huge amount of tomatoes, the event managers and the government who has granted the permission of arranging such kind of festival such be aware of the fact that there is huge lot of difference between India and Spain and is not necessary that things that takes place in movies should be incorporated in reality too as we still are not in the list of the super power countries of the world. Hope the La Tomatina Festival doesn’t become a reason for the price hikes for
tomatoes after the festival marks its end. Here the quality of tomatoes that is going to be used is also an issue, what if bad quality tomatoes are used won’t it be a health problem for people attending it, who will be responsible for all this, the government or the people enjoying it.
Yeahh, don’t think too much, it’s really taking place in India but in a desi style now what desi style is surprise for even you and me. So now no more waiting for the La Tomatina festival as it’s is just in Delhi this Saturday ie on 13th August, 2011. For which the cast and crew of Zingadi na Milegi Dobara had to go to Spain for the shoot this is now on our lands, so no more traveling long. In Spain it is noted that tomato is their favorite food item that they use in their daily meal, the graph states that the consumption of tomato on annually basis by an individual in Spain is about 17 Kilos.
Now when its in our capital we must have a gist of how it started off, the beginning of this La cialis Tomatina was an accident in the market of fruits and vegetables two persons broke out into a fight by throwing tomatoes on each other and this was continued each year and then resulted in the tomato festival, basically which is a tomato fight of throwing tomatoes on each other. Now lets see how the Desi La Tomatina Festival turns up to be. So those who want to jump into the red tomatoes get yourselves in white and join the festival at Delhi. Delhi is full on ready with security and the event managers are ready to bang on with the event so its just the audience who as to be there and I am very sure that La Tomatina Festival will be more beautiful and enjoyable at our capital. Till no near about 2000 kgs of tomatoes have being collected for the festival.
