Mirik, Nestled In Tranquil Darjeeling Hills

The location of the place is 1767 m above the level of the sea, only about 15,000 people are populated at this place. This got its place in the map of Darjeeling in 1070’s.  Once you are landed up in Mirik there are several places around it which are worth visiting. There is man made lake called as Sumemdu, this lake is thronged in by tourist all the time around the year. Then is the Singha Devi temple in the close proximity of the Sememdu Lake. Deosi Dara is a classic point here which must be called in to hold few vistas of the peaks, hills and plains in and around Mirik.
