As you all known how famous is Lalbaugcha Raja Ganpati Mandal in Mumbai, but its is popular all over India, even people from outside India come here to take darshan of Ganpati here. This is the very first Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav that was started in 1934. Here today you can see more than lakhs of visitors on eleven days of the festival, all these visitors stand in long queue to take darshan of the Shree Ganpati.
Its just one day left for Ganesh Chaturthi and you can see the murti of Lalbaugcha Raja which is immense idol of Lord Ganesh, when you look towards the murti you can feel his presence around you, you can feel as if he is talking to
you. Lord Ganesh is also called as Vighnaharta. This year the Mukh Darshan is already done, before starting up to making the idol of the great Lalbaugcha Raja, Mati pooja is done wherein the people of the mandal do pooja for gaining strength of making a stunning murti as every year.
You can see the images of the Murti its in white dhoti and pink shela, which is really looking awesome with a great sculpture of the Murti. Each and every body part of the Murti is so precise, its very lively and stunning. Near his feet you will always find a mouse which is considered as the Vahana of Lord Ganesh.
Each year the sitting position of the Murti changes sometimes its one leg on his other and sometimes its both legs down but every year the Murti is sited on the Raj Asan. This view true makes him the Raja. Even when Ganesh Chaturti is not yet come here is crowd of visitors to have a Mukh Darshan, so you can imagine how much crowd would be here on the festival days of Ganesh Utsav.
