Whenever I go to Goa, I surely make it a point to visit a different beach each time and stay in a different locale. The last time our family went to Goa we decided to explore the Anjuna beach. I had been here many years back and had enjoyed the beauty of exploring this ancient land here in India. This is one village in the Goa region which has beautiful locations to explore and provides ideal travel experiences to the interested tourist.

The simple ambience here and the lovely pleasures of the idyllic atmosphere relaxed us completely and soon we were going round the place. My uncle who had accompanied us showed us the chapels here in the parish. There are three of them here in Anjuna. One is the St.Antonio, the other at Nossa Senhora de Saude and the third one to Nossa Senhora de Piedade. The Vagator Chapel became the church of the New Parish of Vagator and was dedicated to the S. Antonio sometime in the 20th century. Anjuna Beach lies to the west of the Anjuna village and has many bars and restaurants. This might not be the best Goan Beach but is surely the most serene of the lot. We walked around the beach and this time we had come prepared to see the flea market here which is greatly popular. The occasional sight of the skydiver landing here was a pleasant capture on the camera. We had some of the best times here and the place where we stayed also was quiet ancient and the hut provided the greatest travel delights. We totally enjoyed the pleasures of being into this and of absolute excitement and thrilling delights.

The Flea Market

The Flea market in Anjuna Beach is a major event in this part of the world and gives the greatest travel pleasures. This happens every Wednesday and goes on from morning till dusk. This is one bargain which would surely give you all the pleasures of traveling as this is a unique event that normally takes place here at Anjuna and is a greatly exhilarating experience. We went to the flea market and were totally taken in, by the loud commotion that the vendors were making here. We went to the beach by the main road and crossed the flea market location and totally enjoyed the pleasures of being in a market place which was unique and intriguing. We took a two wheeler and paid a little amount for parking. We went to the Anjuna flea market and enjoyed the intriguing sights that greeted us. There were many shops that were found on the streets. We went round the shops and saw what wares were being sold and what articles were being displayed. My friend had his own shop here and you can set up the shop for a small amount. So you are one of those enterprising individuals who want to experience the pleasures of being a shop keeper then do make an attempt to set up a shop in the Anjuna flea market and feel the pleasures of a new experience.

The tourist season is abuzz with these kinds of tour pleasures and gives the tourists a chance to get some of the best wares in the Anjuna flea market.
