My son has asked me to write an essay on Essel World as part of the punishment I got while we were playing “What’s the good word”. What a boring thing to do I thought but as I read through what I was writing, I realized that Essel World is indeed a great place to go to. So here goes my essay.

Situated in Gorai, in Mumbai , there is this island of around 64 acres which is the major attraction for more than 10,000 visitors every day. As each day dawns and the world gets set to start the day, Essel World starts into another motion altogether. With the best facilities for a great amusement time and the major attraction feature in this part of the world, this great centre of entertainment can be reached by traversing either Borivili or Malad both of which lie in Mumbai, the land of commerce and entertainment.

It was the initiative of a person called Subhash Chandra who headed the Essel Group. It began in the year 1986. Then in the year 1999 the Water Kingdom started here which was loads of fun on water.
