We stayed at the Manas Resort which is a great place to be in, when we went to Igatpuri. Here one gets to see a lot of places like the Dhammagiri which is a great meditation centre. Also there is the Ghatandevi Mandir which fulfills the religious expectations of people. Then of course there are the waterfalls here which are filled with a beauty that is unbelievable. Igatpuri is a place that has lot of climbing, walking, trekking and just plain relaxing on the banks of the dams and the serene ambience here. There are many reasons why visitors find this beautiful hill station located in the district of Nashik in Maharashtra very interesting. With the best surroundings of divine peace, it seems as Mother Nature has come alive here . We walked down the unchartered lanes and felt the lusciousness of the grass here. We were ready to enjoy the sight of the waterfalls.
The place where we had reached was the Camel Valley which is the best kept secret of this fantastic tour locale Igatpuri. We climbed up the Kasara Ghats and encountered some really thrilling exciting hair pin bends. There was a picturesque beauty of this place which filled our imaginations with the best dose of travel leisure. There were rail lines that seemed to appear from a distant land and the magical sight of these rails seemed to capture our imagination completely. These rail lines suddenly seemed to disappear in a tunnel and there were many such tunnels that were seen here. We saw the Igatpuri plateau here. Just as we thought the plateau was about to begin, the entire landscape suddenly fell at a depth of around 1000 feet. This was the Camel Valley and this is what we were waiting to see. The sight of the innumerable waterfalls here seemed to draw their own pictures in our minds and we were quite thankful we chose this spot for the travel experience.
We walked around the place a little and took a lot of photographs of the lovely waterfalls that seemed to dot the entire region. The sight of the fog around seemed to embrace us with a lot of expectation and it seemed as if it beckoned us to let our travel juices flow and enjoy the pristine season.
Five Waterfalls which is the waterfall paradise here is a place that can be reached through a rough road which takes you to the railway line. The surroundings were enchanting and the setting pristine. We were all geared up to see the best. With the best sights of the natural surrounding, we made our way through the rough road. We crossed the road and climbed down. Here is where we got to see the sight of the best waterfalls here. The path was very difficult to reach so we had to tread on it very carefully. Monsoon is the best time to be in this lovely locale, so we were quite lucky that we were actually there during the time rain fell on us incessantly. As the water fell from a height we were totally taken in by the sheer beauty of this lovely sight. Forget all your troubles and relax in the ambience of a great destination filled with the most ideal of waterfall pleasures.
There is something very gorgeous about this place, which is totally unscathed by the technological world outside. There is a charm here of a hill station which is magnificent and has the best sights of a land beyond imagination.
Some of our friends decided to take an adventurous trail up the lovely landscape here . We saw more than 1000 water falls here and innumerable streams, some of them huge and some of them small pleasures.
Igatpuri is very famous for the many temples that dot the entire region. So along with the waterfalls one also gets the sight of these lovely structures. Famous for being a centre of Vipasana meditation, the temples only reinstilled in us the confidence that we had in embarking on this adventurous tour. With the waterfalls sights filling us with renewed zest, we went to see the lovely sight of the monsoon clouds and the other beautiful sights around this beautiful paradise Igatpuri famous for its waterfalls.
